34 ysr ago today WE was blessed to have brought a beautiful baby girl into our lives, Crystal Lynn. I remember the moment that u were placed into my arms it was the best day of my life, the love that radiated from u was amazing,  U and ur sister were and will always be the best thing I done in life. We have been so blessed with u and Nikki and the gifts u gave us our 5 amazing grandbabies. Although u are in heaven now with god u will forever be in our hearts and souls.So rock the heavens today with ur beautiful smile and ur beautiful soul. Till we meet again " WLYSVM" Forever our Babygirl.

I just found out about her passing today. Although we drifted over the years as friends sometimes do, For several years when we were younger she was the light of my life, The perfect best friend. We would hang out together all the time laughing at jokes and telling stories. Running around and hanging out at various friends places and stores . Some of the best years of my life were spent Hanging out with her . My deepest and sincerest condolences to the family (all of you)  I will truly miss you. The world wont be the same without you.  Ive never had a friend quite like her and i truly never will again.

This 23rd day fo September is a very special day to all of our family. 10 yrs ago today Scott and I watched our beautiful daughter Crystal Lynn marry the man of her dreams, Jevon Bowen (JB) per Crystal. He is the half that made her whole, Soulmates forever. Together they had 3 beautiful children together, Miranda Nicole, Austin Michael and Caleb Joe. These kids are wonderful with beautiful hearts. They were taught to love, be compassionate to others, respect, among alot of other qualities they possess.

 

Crystal and Jevon worked very hard to give their children every thing they needed, a home, family (lots of family) love and encouragement to strive for what they  wanted from life. To work hard to accomplish their future plans.

 

We lost Crystal 2 1/2 yrs ago, and life is not the same,never will be. But we have to go on no matter how much it breaks our hearts, because just like Crystal, we are strong together. She would want her children to have their dreams come true. She will always be watching over all of us, and be in our hearts forever.

 I was just going thru pictures of when Crystal and Nicole were young. The two of them were so funny and upbeat. They would fight and then make up minutes later. I have alot of pics. of them and their cusins Stephanie and Scottie, and Anthony when he was little.  Crystal,  be the only one who  would be allowed to hold her lil cuz. she is the oldest and so she was in charge.lol.  she was so protective of her lil cuz. and sister.  The rolls reversed years later, Crystal, and Nikki's cuzins were very protective of them against the boyfriends.  They would say dont  hurt my cuzins or you will deal with us.lol  Crystal was  the one that Anthony looked up to for advice and he would listen too.  He loved to go stay the week-end with them and the kids. Crystal and Jevon would wrestle with the boys and sit and talk to them for hours if they needed to talk.  She would be proud of her lil cuzins now .  She taught the boys alot be being the strong and independant women she was.  that told them do what ever it would take to make it in life.  thank you sissy for being the person you were.  i love you sissy-pooh 

Crystal was a inspiration to all of us and always will be. She loved life in general and loved the holidays especially. She shined when it came to giving those around her hope and inspiration to achieve whatever made them happiest in life. She loved to take the babies trick or treating , to see santa claus or the easter bunny , whatever made them happy. This year the kids are going to be a diva, scarecrow, and a bumblebee transformer, cute huh? Im sure she will also be there to watch them. We all think about her every minute of every day , and help the kids to cope and keep all their memories of mommy alive in their hearts. Crystal will never be forgotten. Be at peace little one, forever and always in our hearts.

There is always a star in the sky above over my home.  I speak to that star as much as possible, It may sound stupid to some, but I have given that star 2 names whom are very special to me always.  Never can I get any sound nor  anything but shine from it but I know that it is their to comfort me in my time of need..  my names of that star is Crystal lynn Bowen and Robert lee Whitaker  these people are very missed and loved even in the after life.  they both have given me happy, sad and memories I will keep to myself.  Although if I could take a choice of memories or the two back with us healthy and happy I would let the memories go.  But God took them for a reason unknown and I have to beleave that he knew something that I didnt so he done what he knew was best.  So in saying that I love and miss them dearly and I will keep talking to my starr and hope they can hear me.  Some day u both will come to me in my dreams as clear as the star above, so I will see you in my dreams.  rest in peace I love and miss you both.  wlways remembered never forgotten.   Sherri

  We miss you so much and still does'nt seem real. Trying to get by every single day and it is the hardest thing in the world. But knowing you are safe up there  in heaven with God & Grandpa helps a lot. Your Children are so beautiful and so smart I know you are so proud. Jevon is doing good as you probably already know. Nicole & Timothy are doing good to. Having trouble saying what is truly in my heart right at this time but you know how important you are in Dad & My world and that will never change. Miss You and think of you every day. Will get some current pics of the family for everyone to see your wonderful kid's and family. We Love You. RIP babygirl.

CRYSTAL   THE BOYS AND I WERE SITTING AROUND LOOKING AT PICS. OF ALL OF YOU WHEN YOU LITTLE.  THEY WERE THINKING OF THE TIMES YOU BABYSAT THEM AND HOW YOU WOULD GET DOWN AND PLAY AND BE SILLY WITH THEM. YOU AND JEVON TOOK TONY TO HIS FIRST CONCERT AND HE REALLY LOVED IT AND BEING THERE WITH HIS 2 CUZINS. THAT HE WILL NEVER FORGET. THEY BOTH LOOKED UP TO YOU AND HOW YOU AND JEVON WOULD DO WHAT EVER IT TOOK TO GET THRU A DAY IN HARD TIMES. YOU WERE THERE FOR THEM AND THEY ARE HERE FOR YOU KNOW TO HELP OUT IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE.  YOU WOULD BE SO PROUD OF THEM BOTH ,  TONY GRADUATED AND TY IS A FRESHMAN NOW. THERES NOT A DAY THAT GOES BY THAT YOU ARE NOT MENTIONED OR THOUGHT OF.  THANK YOU FOR BEING THE WOMEN YOU ARE IN LIFE AND AFTER LIFE,  YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO MY KIDS AND THEY MISS YOU MORE THEN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.  TEST IN PEACE SISSY POOH , WE MISS YOU AND LOVE YOU ALWAYS.   

Well Cystal was like a big sis to me n my sister. I remember when i was younger me and Crystal was like the same we always liked playing sports and one day we was in my front yard playin football with all the other little kids around here. So while we was playing this game Crystal had thrown the ball to me and i guess i didnt expect it because when i turned around the ball hit me right in the eye. And come to find out my eye ball was bleeding and she had busted my eye vessel. At the time it hurt but now looking back it was pretty funny ha. Another memory i have is when me, my sister, Crystal and Nikki were very young they always came and stayed with us on the weekends. And our parents would always go to the basement and we stayed upstairs. But what they didnt know was we were always trying to spy on them from the top of the stairs ha. Then when they found out we were there they would send us back to bed, but we got right back up everytime. Crystal was always smarter than us she had to be the one who told us everything our parents did. They just recently found out that she had told us EVERYTHING. Crystal will always be like a big sis to me and ill never forget her. Love ya! Kellie

One of our funniest memories is when nikki and cyrstal were little. Brian would bribe them with quarters for little kisses. Their mom and dad said in one day they cleaned up with all kinds of dollars. Brian went broke in one day. Theres to many memories we have of crystal, she was like one our daughters. we known her since birth, nobody could ever take her place in our hearts. Nikki is just like our daughter to. If there anything that nikki needs were here for her. There was one time when i was baby siting Austin and Miranda and Crystal had just found out she was pregnant with Caleb. And she had called to tell me and the kids that she was going to have another baby and she was afraid to tell her mom. I told her what, is she gonna ground you. She started laughing and told her mom two weeks later. Crystal was a  very special mother to her kids and wife to her husband, and daughter and sister. We will always be here for Jevon and the kids if they ever need anything. We love them very much. love Theresa and Brian

We have alot of memories of our babygirl . When crystal was born we knew she would achieve anything she put her mind to. She had this sparkle in her little eyes that told us she was born to bring joy and laughter to our lives. When her little sister was born she loved her so very much, she called Nikki her baby, then when Nikki got to the trying to walk in a walker stage Crystal tried to send her back by trying to push her off the porch, she also like to make little sister mud pies for lunch, Nikki loved her sister so much she ate them. Crystal loved to do anything that boys would do like play with tonka trucks, football, basketball,etc... Then there was her other side which was her beautiful singing voice she was in choir and done a couple of solo's which made me cry from being so proud. She loved to swim, ride horses, camp, and was always up for a challenge. When our pipes busted Crystal came to help her daddy and was covered in mud and she loved every minute of it, not normally what a beautiful young woman would call fun but it made her so happy that her dad needed her help and that she is the one he asked. She could lay carpet, paint houses, and still make time to do fun things with her children, her family was her life. Crystal was a very forgiving person she tried to see the best of people instead of there faults if there was anything she could do to help someone in need she did. We loved the love between her and Nikki even though they would do the normal sister fighting they were always there for each other. When Crystal got older she found the man that completed her Jevon, together they had 3 beautiful children together, and all the love they needed to survive anything. We are so blessed to have had her in our lives for the short time that we had her, and will always feel her in our hearts. Our daughters have made both of us so proud, We love and miss her more than words can say, We love you always Crystal Lynn Baker-Bowen.

 missing you, you were friend that i will never be able to replace,u were a very unique one, u came to work with me i first thought you couldnt handle it, then you started outworking them, they all then had too start actually working not to be out beaten by a "girl" lol.crystal your were my best friend even though you were a girl, my thoughts  and prayers go out to jevon,hes suffered a great loss of a woman.and your kids,miranda, ausin, caleb, theyre so precious,especially miranda she so much like you, i   im sure you got your eyes on them.memories of good time would be kings islands, camping,FARKLE(i still have your belt you made)ha, but i gladly return it to you if you just come back to us miss you so dearly.my sorrow goes to scott,marsh, and nikki  to suffer a loss of daughter, and sister,i know what i feel of my daughter and the pain of that must have been unbearable,so so sorry , and nikki if my sis was gone even though i fought with her all the time,i would would feel great loss.crystal, you will always be a embeded memory in my mind,forever you were 1 of a kind.

My memories of Crystal,   There are so many that I could be writing for ever.   So I am going to just say "From the day sissy pooh was born I loved and cherished each and every one. they will be held close and dear to my heart for ever.  That bright and beautiful smile and her upbeat personality was a joy to have around.  Her 3 beautiful children will also have those great trairs of their mommy.  She is a joy in my life i will never forget and never let die in my heart.   I LOVE YOU SISSY

there is alot of memories that I could share, but there isnt enough space on a computer to do that so I am going to share only one at this time.  Crystal was a very talented young lady, there wasn't a task that could be presented to her that she woulndn't try once.  Crystal has always wanted to be with the rough necks, no matter what she was going to be doing.  So her uncle Scott and I asked her if she wanted to help us on a roof job(tear off and re-lay a new one.)  She climbed up on that roof and swung a hammer better then any guy we had out their.  Then again she was the little sweet and gentle girl that I remember watching grow up.  Having 3 beautiful children who adored her and their father was Crystal's passion to always succeed in all that she done.  She may not be here in person to finish that job, but she is looking down to help Jevon in doing that.   She is here in spirit always.  Love you always Sissy pooh.

crystal bowen is my sister and she was my best friend and i still cant beleive this has happened but she will always be remembered forever i love her so much the picture your going to see is of me and my sister at the brickyard 400 in 2007. we had a great time along with our significant others. she was always the life of the party and everyone loved her so much. shes a one of a kind woman and no matter what i will always look up to her she was my idol and i miss her shes a great mother sister daughter and wife. she will always be missed.
